Before you get in touch

Frequently asked questions.

Practical answers for parents and carers, schools and commissioners. If your question isn’t here, ask us directly — we answer every enquiry.

How do I get my child a place at a youth club or session?+

Most youth clubs and holiday sessions can be accessed directly. Send us an enquiry through the contact page with your child's age and the site you'd like to attend, and we'll confirm availability and any registration paperwork.

Parents & carers

Do you support children with SEND or an EHCP?+

Yes. We run dedicated SEND sessions and adapt mainstream provision to individual need. Our SEND practitioners work to EHCP outcomes and liaise with schools, therapists and social workers where appropriate.

Parents & carers

Is there a cost?+

Many sessions are free, including HAF holiday provision for children eligible for benefits-related free school meals. Commissioned one-to-one work is usually funded by the local authority or school. Where a charge applies we will always tell you up front.

Parents & carers

Are your staff DBS checked and trained?+

All staff hold enhanced DBS checks and receive safeguarding, first aid and inclusive practice training. We have a named safeguarding lead and clear reporting procedures.

Parents & carers

What in-school support can you provide?+

We deliver one-to-one and small group mentoring, behaviour and re-engagement support, transition work and attendance interventions. Provision can be timetabled weekly or arranged as a short intensive block.

Schools

How quickly can you start?+

For most school-based work we can meet within a week and start delivery shortly after, subject to capacity. Emergency and crisis requests are triaged the same working day.

Schools

Are you on current frameworks?+

Yes. We are council approved and on current frameworks, working with Stoke-on-Trent City Council, Staffordshire County Council, youth offending services and the family hub network.

Commissioners

Can you deliver emergency and out-of-hours care?+

We provide rapid-response care work including placement cover and out-of-hours support for young people in crisis or at risk of placement breakdown.

Commissioners

How do you evidence outcomes?+

We record baseline and review measures against agreed outcomes, provide written reports at intervals set by the commissioner, and can attend reviews and multi-agency meetings.

Commissioners
